Often guests \u201csell\u201d the idea of a night dive\/snorkel trips to other guests to make up the minimum.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d9bc23e e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"d9bc23e\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0ed8925 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0ed8925\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Trip Plan<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4321908 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4321908\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>We leave Placencia at 4:00 pm and arrive at Laughing Bird Caye 30 to 40 minutes later, unless we spot dolphins in which case, we arrive at this beautiful caye a little later. We spend about an hour on the caye to explore the beaches and enjoy the sunset. As it gets dark, we review safety and night diving procedures and how we will conduct the 45-minute dive. We usually don\u2019t go deeper than 40 feet\/12m to be able to spend more time exploring. At night octopus, lobsters, squid, and nudibranchs come out of hiding and roam the reef looking for prey. The reef itself changes at night as coral polyps open for feeding.
